Design & Simulation

In the design phase of product development, we use up-to-date software tools, a variety of different methods for simulation and visualization of product performance.

Our optical modelling team uses raytracing software for optical system design and wave-optical simulation algorithms to calculate optical characteristics of micro- and nanostructured surfaces and optimize their performance. We can create CAD drawings and data sets.

For optical and topographical characterization of products and product surfaces we use high resolution scanning electron and scanning probe microscopes, optical microscopes, photospectrometry for transmissivity and reflectivity measurements, goniophotometers for acquisition of diffusion profiles and ellipsometry. Several testing devices for evaluation of defect rates, water contact angles.
