Technological nucleus

The technological nucleus of temicon GmbH resulted from the business area Micro Technologies at technotrans AG. As the leading manufacturer of electroforming and wet process equipment, technotrans produced micro and nano structured products by electroforming when required. With the foundation of temicon GmbH on the 1st October 2005 in Dortmund this technically and commercially promising area is a spin-off of technotrans AG, established as a separate strategic entity.

temicon GmbH manufactures micro and nano structured components in the excellently equipped laboratory and clean-room facilities of the MST.factory in Dortmund. Our customers are multi-national corporations, as well as small and medium-sized companies dealing in display technology, micro-optics, micro-electronics/semiconductors, biotechnology, fluid technology and micro actuator technology.

A ceremony was held on Nov 18, 2005 in the RWE-Tower in Dortmund, where the winners of the Micro Technology Competition 2005 were presented with the awards. Dr. Oliver Humbach was awarded with the second prize for temicon GmbH, as well as the special prize „MST.factory dortmund GmbH“, with a total value of 60.000,-- Euro.
