Micro actuator technology

The requirement for a highly precise mechanical positioning, within minimal available space is found in many fields of application, such as measuring technology, medical technology, semiconductor technology and robotics, right up to avionics and aerospace technology. Today a symbiosis of micro technology and precision mechanics enables the production of tiny, precise and reliable micro motors and micro actuators (e.g. micro grippers).

An example is the dosing of medicines in the nl-range with micro pumps or micro valves.
